Welcome to Inner Zest Yoga online!
Your online sanctuary, a place to find peace, stillness and balance... your inner zest.
We have a mix of classes incorporating asanas (postures), mindfulness, pranayama (breath work) and meditation with a strong focus on connection within. Our classes allow you to feel into your body, practice at your own level and gift yourself an opportunity to return to homeostasis.
Our aim is to create a variety of practices so you can login no matter how you are feeling or how much time you have and find something that really fits in with where you are at in that moment.
We're looking forward to welcoming you into our community!
Here at Inner Zest Yoga we offer a range of classes all with varying time frames so we encourage you to tune in first ~ ask yourself how you are feeling, what it is that you need in that moment and how much time do you have? Then choose your practice to suit. 💜
Slow Flow Yoga ~ a slower style Vinyasa with a focus on alignment and connection within. Listen to the subtle whispers of the body; create more awareness and more space within the body and mind. This class is balancing and strengthening for the body and the mind.
VinYin ~ A beautiful combination of Vinyasa Flow and Yin Yoga.
Vinyasa Yoga synchronises movement with the breath, working on strength, balance and flexibility while also incorporating breathwork, mindfulness and meditation. A dynamic style of yoga.
Yin Yoga is slow and deep - a time for slowing down, listening, obsverving, restoring, tuning in and bringing balance into body and mind.
The combination of both styles will get your energy moving and leave you feeling calm and balanced. The perfect balance of Yin and Yang. Suitable for all levels.
Yin ~ a slower mostly floor based practice. Each pose is held for anywhere from 3 to 7 mins looking beyond the muscles and targeting the deeper connective tissues (joints, joint capsules, ligaments, tendons and fascia). All tissues in the body need stimulation to be healthy and the connective tissues are no exception. Yin targets these deeper tissues to create a strong, healthy, mobile and spacious body, clearing blockages and encouraging energy flow. Yin is therapeutic for the body and the mind, a deeply healing practice. Suitable for all levels.
YOUR TEACHER ~ Pam Bennett
Pam found yoga in 2013 firstly just as a physical practice. She added meditation soon after as a way to manage stress in her corporate role and quickly fell in love with the practice of yoga as a whole. Yoga and meditation became a non-negotiable part of her self-care: a place to find peace, stillness and balance and a beautiful time to connect within.
Pam loves the journey of self-discovery through yoga and was inspired to share this gift with others completing her first teacher training in 2018. She has now completed over 500 hours of training and is excited to share this with YOU!
